Finding a job you are suited for is always a tough job in itself. What I always recommend to people, or prospective Entrepreneurs, is to take a serious look at your own qualifications as well as interests. Most anyone is an expert at something, and this realization of your own persona can be a real ali when it comes to career options.

Internet Marketing these days is pretty straight forward, and can offer many different and fun avenues or categories to take advantage of. This type of venture can also enable most individuals who own a Website, the opportunity to express themselves in both a business type atmosphere, as well as personal.

My brother has been in a rut for about 13 years now and it is driving the family bonkers. He was dishorably discharged from the military for something he did while young and stressed.

He feels that he will never be able to get a good enough paying job. What are his options? Any ideas?

Hi I've been working at my current job for 10 years. I'd like to move on to a new job but I get paid so well at my current job. I don't have a degree so I don't think I'll be able to find a good paying job. I'm a very dedicated and hard working person. I love helping people. I'd be a great assistant to someone but again, I doubt that assistants get paid very well. Does anyone have any advise for me. Better yet....anyone looking for a dedicated hard working individual?

Dozens of jobs applied for on 8 different job boards and almost no responses. I'm trying to move from Michigan to well as far away from this bad economy as possible. Florida, California or maybe Washington State. I'm in the auto industry and would like to change things up a bit. Sales Management with 12 yrs. experience. Need some help in what I might be doing wrong on these job sights. All I get back is B.S. recruiters and work from home scams in my search's. This is going nowhere. I think the jobs think that I am still in Mighigan and until I actually move there that they will not waste there time.

Mr Simon Riviera,

I plan on retiring soon from the Military and I would like to continue working for the government but at a higher salary range. Please guide me in the right direction if you have knowledge of some good and well paid government jobs out there.

uh oh... what should I do? 11 years of teaching, but I have had the joy of getting laid off one year and a non-renewal of contract for this past year. I can only imagine how my resume is looking right now. Good thing however... 11 resumes out and 2 scheduled interviews coming up.

Thoughts?

I am 53 and have a "good" government job by most people's standards, but I am bored since I am not being challenged and my boss, who is a female, will not teach me anything or provide me with additional training.

I feel as if I am going backwards instead of forward and in a 1970's timewarp.

Is anyone else in this predictament?

Truthfully I just want to pack it up and move out of state.

I was relieved of my duties as an Executive Assistant with an advertising agency in Tulsa OK. Trying to find another comparable job with comparable pay. Seem to be very few. I would love some kind of career change in to the medical field (always a job), but experience is always required, at least for pay I need.

Any suggestions or ideas? I am 51 yrs. old.

Response to Ana: I am 53 and have a "good" government job...

All you have to do is read the rest of these messages to recognize that you have a job that others are looking for. And at 51, I would not be eager to compete with those coming out of college and unemployed in this economy. So best option is to see about repairing your relationship with your boss and adjusting the attitude to help you cope till it gets better. Stay positive and postive things will happen. Shake it up a bit and do more then is expected for recognition, re-create your job! There is a reason why she is not focusing on you...figure this out and fix it.

Tell me Employers how likely is it that you would hire a person whom has chronic pain fibromyalgia, who takes morphine caplets for this pain not to mention other prescritions that my doctors have me on and that I am not to lift over 20lbs. I have been trying to get disability from S.S.I so that I could have some kind of income to add to our mounting bills. I got denied by ssi. so now what people where do I go for a job.
