Monster Career Advice Wins the Webby for Best Employment Site

The news came yesterday, and I’m still reeling from excitement: We’ve won the most coveted award for Web sites in the world.

This year marks the Webbys' 10th anniversary -- and, with more than 5,500 Web sites entered from all 50 states and more than 40 countries, it’s the biggest year in history. Widely known as the “Oscars of the Web,” the Webbys represent an unparalleled honor. We are truly humbled that Monster Career Advice has garnered this level of respect. We hope this means even more people get to take advantage of our free career tips and tools.

The interesting and clever bit that’s differentiated the Webbys from any other big awards ceremony like the Oscars or the Grammys is its strict five-word limit on acceptance speeches. With such a quirky guideline, you can’t help but be clever. Just take a look at some of last year’s winners’ speeches:
