Seven Deadly Sins at Work
My train of thought doesn’t run on a straight line of tracks -- they zigzag a lot. Last week, for no apparent reason, I was contemplating the seven deadly sins quite a bit. In the entirely possible event you’re not sure what they are, here’s the list:
1. Pride
2. Envy
3. Gluttony
4. Lust
5. Anger
6. Greed
7. Sloth
I would like to propose that we come up with a list of the seven deadly sins at work together. I’ll throw my list out there:
1. Grandstanding
2. Throwing thy coworker under the bus
3. Unresponsiveness
4. Taking credit for thy coworker’s efforts
5. Laziness
6. Resisting change
7. Overtly obsequious behavior
I’m quite sure there are other workplace sins well-deserving of the list. Tell us what you think.

What about using unnecessarily big words when a short, simple one would suffice?
