Freelance or Full-Time?

Having been a freelance writer/editor at one time, I can relate to this guy's experiences. Freelancing gives you freedom, and sometimes you build up ideas of all the amazing novels, articles, poems, etc., you will write in your spare time -- and then it doesn't happen, because you're too busy constantly scrambling for clients and money to have any spare time.

Those of us who have had to accept that freelancing won't really work for us sometimes feel like we've sold out and won't ever write that Great American Novel. But as this guy points out, working full-time can give you freedom in ways you didn't expect.
